Client: International Center of Cinema. Intellectuals and artistes, a client we dreamed of. Immersed in the world of moving pictures these people often have a lot of interesting stuff to tell. We mostly listen, they mostly watch and let us do our thing. Believe it or not, it is the best way it works.
Task: Arsenals is a huge thing on Riga's cultural agenda. We emerged with our service when it was already famous and our biggest task was to keep up with the reputation. The festival needed a website which would hold the immense amount of information and be easily accessible and fun to use for all the movie-freaks, media people and the organizers themselves.
Solution: We designed the Arsenals 2002 website around the festival schedule: which film when, what theatre, what director, country, etc. The user could personalize the program up to SMS alerts when the chosen movie would start. There were also a film rating system, a forum, and many more. All enveloped, of course, by our inseyed™ content management system, which was put to a real time test – during the festival, news and various info had to be updated several times a day by the staff, constantly having a steady stream of visitors.
